Ceramic Lined Tee
Ceramic Sleeve Pipe Tee
Ceramic sleeve lined tees are wear-resistant pipe fittings used in high-abrasion and corrosive material flow systems where pipelines must branch or split. They consist of high-purity alumina ceramic sleeves embedded within a carbon steel tee body, ensuring both structural strength and internal protection against erosion, corrosion, and impact. The ceramic sleeve inside the tee is usually shrink-fitted or bonded, forming a smooth internal surface that reduces friction and wear on conveyed materials.

This product is commonly used in systems handling fly ash, coal powder, slurry, and cement in power plants, mining operations, steel mills, and chemical processing facilities. The ceramic sleeve inside the tee is usually shrink-fitted or bonded, forming a smooth internal surface that reduces friction and wear on conveyed materials.

Product Features

  • High Wear and Corrosion Resistance: The inner lining utilizes high-purity alumina corundum ceramic, known for its exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and chemical stability. Ceramic types and thicknesses can be tailored to suit different materials and operating temperatures, significantly extending service life.
  • Secure Bonding Technology: In high-temperature environments, ceramic liners are fixed using a combination of stud welding and industrial-grade ceramic adhesives. This dual fixation method ensures that the lining remains firmly in place during prolonged operation.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Steel Casing: The outer steel pipe material is selected based on environmental conditions. For humid or corrosive environments, stainless steel or anti-rust coatings can be used to enhance external durability.
  • Reinforced Bends and Junctions: Critical wear points such as elbows and tees are optimized by increasing curvature radius and locally reinforcing steel and ceramic thickness, providing enhanced impact resistance and prolonged lifespan.

Production Process

  • Steel Shell Material: Outer pipes are typically fabricated from carbon steel grades such as 10# or 20#, or stainless steel depending on application needs.
  • Pipe Length & Sectioning: Pipes are cut to required lengths. For pipes exceeding 3 meters, sectional fabrication is used for easier handling and transport.
  • Wall & Liner Thickness: Steel wall thickness typically ranges from 6–10 mm, while the ceramic liner varies from 5–30 mm based on wear demands.
  • Dimensional Consistency: All wear-resistant ceramic elbows are aligned to match internal diameters precisely, with optional customization for outer diameter connections.
  • Custom Specifications: Non-standard shapes, sizes, and connection methods can be designed and produced according to customer requirements or project drawings.
