Wearback ceramic sleeve lined elbows provide superior wear resistance and structural reinforcement at the most vulnerable bend zones, ideal for high-speed and abrasive media transfer systems.

Wearback ceramic sleeve lined elbows are heavy-duty pipe fittings enhanced with an extra-thick ceramic liner and reinforced steel shell at the back of the bend—where the most erosion occurs. The inner sleeve is made of high-purity alumina ceramic (≥92–95%), offering hardness up to Mohs 9, embedded securely in a mild or carbon steel body.

This special wearback structure is ideal for applications involving high-velocity slurry, fly ash, coal powder, or sand that would quickly degrade conventional elbows. The reinforced back extends the service life even further by absorbing the impact and wear forces focused on the outer curve.
