Ceramic Sleeves Lined Pipe

High Wear And Corrosion Resistant Solution

Ceramic sleeves lined pipes combine the strength of steel with the wear resistance of alumina ceramic, delivering long-lasting performance in high-abrasion, high-corrosion environments.

Ceramic sleeves lined pipes are advanced composite pipeline systems where the interior is lined with high-purity alumina ceramic sleeves inserted into a steel outer shell. This structure provides dual protection—mechanical strength from the steel and superior wear resistance from the ceramic.

These pipes are specially designed for conveying abrasive materials, corrosive slurries, and high-velocity particulate flows in industries such as power generation, mining, cement, steel, and chemical processing.

The alumina ceramic lining—typically ≥92% or ≥95% Al₂O₃—offers hardness up to Mohs 9, making it highly effective in resisting friction, erosion, and chemical attack.

Key Features of Ceramic Sleeve Lined Pipe

Outstanding Abrasion Resistance

Withstands severe wear from sand, coal, ash, or slurry—far superior to traditional metal pipes.

Corrosion Resistance

High chemical stability in acidic, alkaline, or reactive flow environments.

Smooth Internal Surface

Reduces material accumulation and promotes uninterrupted flow.

High Temperature Tolerance

Performs reliably in operating temperatures up to 800°C.

Modular Sleeve System

Sleeves can be replaced individually without cutting the pipe body.

Typical Applications

  • ✔️ Fly ash and coal transport pipelines in thermal power plants
  • ✔️ Ore slurry and tailing discharge in mining operations
  • ✔️ Pneumatic conveying systems for cement and powders
  • ✔️ Chemical pipelines handling corrosive fluids or wastewater
  • ✔️ Dust and flue gas transport in desulfurization systems
