Welded Steel Pipes are tubular products made from flat steel plates, known as skelp, formed, bent, and welded using processes like Electric Resistance Welding (ERW), Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW), or Spiral Submerged Arc Welding (SSAW). Compliant with standards such as ASTM A53, API 5L, and EN 10219, these ERW steel pipes and LSAW steel pipes are ideal for oil and gas pipelines, construction, and water supply systems.
Manufactured from high-quality carbon steel grades like ASTM A53 Grade B, API 5L Grade B, or EN 10219 S275, welded steel pipes are available in outer diameters from 21.3 mm to 2400 mm and wall thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 25 mm. The welding process ensures structural integrity, while coatings such as galvanizing, 3LPE, or black varnish enhance corrosion-resistant welded pipes for harsh environments, including pipelines exposed to moisture, chemicals, or soil.
Welded steel pipes undergo rigorous testing, including hydrostatic, ultrasonic, and weld seam inspections, to ensure defect-free material and compliance with standards. With tensile strengths ranging from 410 MPa to 435 MPa, these pipes are suitable for low to medium-pressure applications, offering a cost-effective alternative to seamless pipes.
