Premium Wear Protection
Durable steel elbows with interlocked cast basalt tile lining, designed for maximum abrasion and corrosion resistance in industrial elbows.
Cast basalt tile lined elbows are high-performance pipe fittings ideally suited for abrasive, ash-handling, and corrosive flow systems. These elbows integrate a sturdy steel outer shell with an interlocking basalt tile interior, bonded with cement mortar or special adhesives, forming a solid, wear-resistant lining.
The basalt tiles—cast at ~1300 °C—offer exceptional hardness (Mohs 7–8) and chemical resistance. Their interlocked pattern creates a smooth, continuous surface that resists particle impact, slurry abrasion, and corrosive chemicals in applications like chutes, bunkers, silos, and ash pipelines.
Key features include:
Outstanding Abrasion Resistance: Interlocked basalt tiles stand up to high-velocity particulate flow including ash, slag, sand, and cement.
Chemical Tolerance: Basalt’s inert properties make elbows resistant to acids and alkalis, safeguarding structural integrity.
Thermal Reliability: Suitable for temperatures up to ~400–450 °C, making them ideal for heat-intensive processes.
Self‑Polishing Surface: Flow action improves polish over time, reducing friction and buildup.
Customizable Designs: Configurable for various diameters (DN50–DN800+), bend angles, and connection styles—flanged, welded, or socket weld.
Low Maintenance: Modular tiles allow for easy replacement in specific wear zones, minimizing downtime and repair costs.
These elbows are engineered to deliver extended service life—often 5–10× longer than traditional materials—yet are easy to install within existing pipeline systems. Ideal sectors include power generation, mining, cement, chemical processing, and industrial dust and ash handling.
Far exceeds unlined steel, AR plate and most ceramic linings in severe sliding abrasion.
Resists almost all acids, alkalis and saline solutions (except HF).
Continuous service up to 350–450 °C (grade dependent).
Prevents material adhesion and reduces pressure loss & energy consumption.
Steel outer shell allows normal welding. Damaged sections can be cut out and replaced individually without dismantling the entire line.
Cast basalt lined pipes (also known as玄武岩铸石衬里钢管) offer exceptional abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, and smooth flow characteristics, making them ideal for hydraulic & pneumatic conveying of abrasive slurries in medium-impact environments.
